Public vs. Private personae

The way we choose to represent ourselves individually can create a good effect to this, as well as a negative effect. People's choices nowadays can be questioned a lot. If you represent yourself in a bad image, of course others who see it will think that of you. Our personae is how we are perceived by others or how we present ourselves to others. Public personae's are often portrayed in a artificial way compared to a private personae. There are some positives to your personae being public or private, where some private issues or incidents might be made public. This can challenge and educate us to change the world or our beliefs. If we have a public figure/personae, we tend to only do that in way of "fitting in" with the rest of the crowd, or having the social pressure of becoming "popular". This could be seen as a negative side in having a public personae. In today's society, we have created and economy of "attention", where those who receive that fame from the amount of likes, subscribers, or viewers are seen as an aspirational figure/influencer.
