Welcome: About Me
My name is Deborah Meletonga Liava'a, I am 17 years young and I am a year 13 in school. I come from a large family but in my immediate family there is only 4 of us, my dad, my mum, myself and my new baby sister, Gracelynn. I come from a small island in the pacific called the kingdom of Tonga. I attend City Impact church school in North shore but I live in Otara which is all the way in the south side of Auckland. I like to say that I am very passionate about where I come from and where I live. I took AS media last year in year 12 and I chose to continue my journey in media studies with taking the A2 class this year hoping to gain more knowledge and more understanding in media studies. As a year 13 this year, and it being my last year in school, I am looking forward to this year to learn more than I learnt last year and keeping my focus more consistent in school and on my work. I look forward to working on gaining more confidence in myself in class and especially in my work and capabilities. I know I will come across some bumps during this year that will put me down, but I aim to not let those little muck ups get to me and to just learn from my mistakes and move forward, still continuing to go on strong.
This is a photo of Mackenzie and myself. We are the only A2 students in media studies for 2023.
